Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026
This notice explains how IBS Portal processes personal data connected with ibsportal.com. It applies to this website only. AlfredCamera, Apple, Google and other external services have their own privacy notices.
1. Data we may process
| Data | How it is obtained | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
Advertising click identifier, such as clickid or msclkid |
Included in an advertising URL and, only after optional tracking consent, forwarded when you select an app-store link | Advertising attribution and conversion measurement |
| Selected store and timestamp | Generated when an app-store button is selected | Measure which destination was selected and record the conversion event |
| Technical request/security information | Generated by the web server or hosting provider, potentially including IP address, browser/user-agent, requested page or URL (which may contain campaign parameters), date/time and error/security logs | Deliver the website, diagnose faults, maintain security and prevent abuse |
| Email correspondence | Information you choose to send to [email protected] | Respond to your enquiry and keep an appropriate record of the communication |
2. Lawful bases
Where UK GDPR applies, IBS Portal relies on the following bases as appropriate:
- Consent for optional advertising measurement based on click identifiers.
- Legitimate interests for website security, fraud/abuse prevention, basic technical administration and responding to ordinary enquiries, balanced against visitors’ rights and expectations.
- Legal obligation where information must be retained or disclosed to comply with applicable law.
3. Optional tracking choice
IBS Portal does not intentionally save an advertising click identifier into its application-level conversion log unless you choose Accept optional tracking. If you reject optional tracking, the app-store redirect still works, but the click identifier is not passed to the thank-you conversion page for storage.
4. Retention
Application-level conversion records containing a click identifier use a 90-day retention target with routine server-side housekeeping, unless a longer period is reasonably required to investigate fraud, resolve an attribution dispute or comply with law. Email correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry and related records. Hosting/security logs are retained according to the operational and security settings of the hosting environment.
5. Recipients and service providers
Information may be processed by providers needed to host and secure the website. We do not sell the website’s application-level click log. We may disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, security or users.
6. External services
When you leave IBS Portal for the App Store, Google Play, AlfredCamera or another external service, that provider controls its own processing. AlfredCamera states that its service is operated by Alfred Systems Inc.; review AlfredCamera’s current Privacy Policy before using the app.
7. International processing
Some website or external-service providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. The safeguards and transfer arrangements for those providers depend on the provider and service used. For details about IBS Portal’s current hosting arrangements, contact [email protected].
8. Your UK data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, you may have rights to request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Right to object: you may object to processing based on legitimate interests by contacting us at [email protected].
9. Complaints
Please contact us first if you have a privacy concern. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
10. Changes
We may update this notice when the website, tracking setup, service providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
